A man was seriously injured after being stabbed Monday afternoon in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The stabbing happened around 1:20 p.m. in the area of Smithfield Street and Seventh Avenue, police said.
Police said they found a man who had been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to a hospital and admitted in serious condition.
Police did not release any information on suspects or a motive. An investigation is ongoing.
