Pittsburgh police on Wednesday arrested an Arlington man in connection with the vandalism of 16 cars in a Downtown parking garage earlier this month.
Dallas Bobnes, 28, is charged with one felony count of criminal mischief, 12 misdemeanor criminal mischief charges and one summary citation for driving without a license.
The incident happened early June 1, police said. Security footage from inside the garage showed a man enter the garage around 12:30 a.m. on a lime green and white dirt bike, according to the complaint. Police said the video shows the man, later identified as Bobnes, try to yank a power cord from a Tesla on the sixth level.
From there, police said, Bobnes kicked the side mirrors off of several vehicles on the fifth and fourth floors. On the third floor, he allegedly pulled a fire extinguisher from a wall and began smashing car windows and windshields.

Footage shows Bobnes riding out on the same dirt bike less than 15 minutes later, according to the complaint.
Investigators said upon posting a photo of the suspect inside the garage, calls and messages flooded in identifying the man as Bobnes. Tattoos and other features seen in known photos of Bobnes matched those on the suspect seen in the garage, according to the complaint.
Six vehicle owners have already provided damage estimates to police totaling more than $16,200. All the other owners told police the damage ranged from $550 to $6,000, according to the complaint.
Bobnes remained in the Allegheny County Jail on Wednesday afternoon, unable to post $10,000 bail. Court records did not list a defense attorney. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 28.
