With Lent beginning Feb. 22, these local churches and organizations are hosting fish fries:

A.W. Beattie Career Center

When: Fridays at 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Feb. 24, March 10, 17, 24 and 31, dine-in or takeout. Pre-ordering not available.

Where: 9600 Babcock Blvd., in McCandless

Cost: Entrees range from $6.50 to $11.50 and include two sides, cole slaw, drink and dessert. A la carte available.

St. Luke the Evangelist

When: Fridays during Lent, 4 to 7 p.m.

Where: Dine-in or takeout, Saints John & Paul church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road in Franklin Park

Cost: $10 for fish sandwich; $15 for platter (Cash preferred, credit cards accepted)

Online ordering available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at saintluke.net/fishfry.

St. Aidan Parish

When: Every Friday during Lent, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Takeout dinners will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Where: St. Alphonsus church, Blessed Seelos Academy School in the Ryan Center, 201 Church Road, in Pine Township.

Cost: Dinners are $14 for adults and $5 for 10 and younger (only for dine-in) A la carte menu available

Online ordering: Available beginning 9 a.m. day of fish fry at stals.fish-fry.org/takeout/comeback. Or call after 2 p.m. at 412-585-3915 or 724-931-0596.

Saints Martha and Mary Parish

When: every Friday during Lent except Good Friday, 4-7 p.m.

Where: Saint Catherine of Sweden Church on Wildwood Road in Hampton Township.

Cost: The complete menu is available on the parish website: www.stsmarthaandmaryparish.org.

Online ordering: Take-out orders can be placed online https://www.stsmarthaandmaryparish.org/fish-fry or by phone at 412-486-6001. Curbside Delivery is available only for orders placed in advance. Please allow 20 minutes for your order to be prepared.
