Outdoor sculptures exhibited
Public Art Bridgeville’s second annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition is on display through Feb. 29.
Ten sculptures are featured along Washington Avenue, Bower Hill Road, Triangle Park, Dewey Avenue and at the Bridgeville Public Library. Sculpture maps are available at the borough office.

Appreciation Day at Scott Pool
Scott Pool’s Appreciation Day will take place from noon to 9 p.m. Aug. 7.
Attendees can enjoy a complimentary hot dog and beverage between 1 and 4:30, as well as a snow cone or popcorn during the same time frame. The event will feature activities such as a water slide contest, splash contest and inner tube races.
A money hunt and bike drawing will be held for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. Everyone can partake in a Family Night swim.
Heidelberg plans Family Fun Night
Family Fun Night is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 18 at Heidelberg Park, 542-598 Industry Way.
Free food, drinks and games are featured, weather permitting.
Driver improvement course set for Aug. 10
Seniors for Safe Driving will present a driver improvement course from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at the Jewish Community Center of South Hills, 345 Kane Blvd., Scott.
With more than 25 years of public service, Seniors for Safe Driving assists motorists in understanding the impact of aging on driving abilities and provides insights into navigating modern roadways.
The course is designed specifically for drivers 55 and older, and does does not involve testing or behind-the-wheel driving. Participants are eligible for a multi-year discount on auto insurance, as mandated by state law.

Tea party in Scott
A tea party for children 10 and older is scheduled for Aug. 13 at the Scott Township Park Lodge.
Cost is $25 per person and includes hot and cold tea, assorted tea sandwiches, croissant sandwiches, and pastries and sweets. A Chinese auction, 50-50 raffle and door prizes will be featured.

Collier to host concerts in the park
Concerts are scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sundays at Collier Community Park, 5 Pvt. Lobaugh Drive. Performances continue with The Clarks — Scott, Rob and Greg, July 30; Timothy Earl, Aug. 13; and Hewlett Anderson, Aug. 27.
Farmers market in Carnegie
The Carnegie Farmers Market continues through Sept. 24 from noon to 3 p.m. Sundays on East Main Street between Broadway and Mary streets.
The market will be closed Sept. 3 for the Labor Day weekend.
Carnegie ArtsWalk set
The Carnegie ArtsWalk will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 29 in the borough’s downtown.
The event will feature gallery exhibits, artist demonstrations, plein air artists and offerings of food and live music.
At 5 p.m., RML Jazz will perform at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, blending smooth jazz with bebop and classic jazz, alongside a touch of modern jazz and Dixieland. The concert is free.
Pierogi sale continues
The Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church’s pierogi sale will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday throughout the summer at the church, 730 Washington Ave., Carnegie.

Ukrainian food festival
On Sept. 8-9, the Parish of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church will host its 12th annual Ukrainian food festival, featuring homemade fare from the church kitchen and outdoor grill, basket raffles and tours of the church, 220 Mansfield Blvd., Carnegie.
