Homewood man arrested after stabbing 3 people, police say

Urvin Wright, 42, of Homewood, was arrested on May 19, 2022 after allegedly stabbing multiple people.

A Homewood man is in jail after he allegedly stabbed three people Thursday morning, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

At around 3:30 a.m., police found a woman who had been stabbed in an apartment on the 7700 block of Frankstown Avenue in Homewood.

Medics took the woman to the hospital in critical condition.

Two other people were also taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to public safety.

Police began investigating, and at around 6 p.m. announced they arrested Urvin Wright, 42, in connection with the stabbings.

Wright, who was being held in the Allegheny County Jail, faces charges of aggravated assault and recklessly endangerment.
