Hue and Harmony a big hit at Hampton

During Hues & Harmony: A Hampton Township School District Fine Arts Festival last week at the high school, visitors were encouraged to place a heart on the Hampton Loves Art poster. The community poster collected hearts from guests to the event, who were able to write their names, draw a design or put their favorite thing about the arts on the heart before pinning it to the poster. Guests got to use the portable print screen machines to make their own Hues and Harmony print screen shirts. The shirts and materials for the station were donated by the Hampton High School Student Council.

This family stopped by the “Found Sound” table to create their own musical instrument from a variety of materials. They then had the opportunity to play their instrument as part of the drum circle station. This was a new feature this year for Hues & Harmony: A Hampton Township School District Fine Arts Festival last week at the high school.
