Maura Kardasz, a 2016 graduate of Hampton High School and an accomplished musician, continues to shine at Westminster College.
Kardasz is a junior music education major with a concentration in composition. She is a member of the Westminster Wind Ensemble, Westminster Symphonic Band, Westminster Orchestra, Westminster Jazz Ensemble and Westminster Woodwind Ensemble. She is president of the collegiate chapter of PCMEA and a member of Mu Phi Epsilon Music Honorary.
Kardasz was a finalist in the Westminster College Concerto Competition. She previously studied under Alicia Whitney and is currently in the bassoon studio of William Byo.
Her parents are Robert and Amanda Kardasz of Allison Park.
