Franklin Park Council Ward 3 race a squeaker with Malkin the apparent winner

Just eight votes determined the apparent winner of the Ward 3 seat on Franklin Park Council, according to unofficial results of votes cast in the Nov. 7 general election.

With 100% of precincts reporting, Democrat Brian Samuel Malkin received 848 votes to 840 votes for Republican Timothy J. Ireland.

The votes are not official until they have been certified by the Allegheny County Board of Elections.

The unofficial tally as reported Nov. 7 by the Board of Elections are:
