Dorseyville Road between Rawlins Run Road and Fox Chapel Road in Indiana Township will be closed into November for the replacement of Little Pine Creek Bridge No. 15, according to the Allegheny County Department of Public Works.

The work will include new pavement, scour protection, pavement markings, and guide rail.

Traffic will be detoured using Harts Run Road and Saxonburg Boulevard. Residents living near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.

Pugliano Construction Co., of Plum is completing the work as part of a $2.6 million 2023 Capital Bridges contract.

Another project on Dorseyville Road involving milling and paving, base repairs, drainage improvements, shoulder work, and guide rail replacement will continue while the bridge is being replaced.

That work, which began on July 5, requires periodic single-lane closures between Fox Chapel Road and Saxonburg Boulevard. Flaggers are being used to control traffic at work zones.
