North Hills churches schedule joint service at Hartwood Acres
The Elfinwild, Parkwood, and Hampton Presbyterian churches will host a combined worship service outdoors at the Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheatre on Sunday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m.
The service will be led by the pastors of the participating churches. The Hampton praise band and the Parkwood praise members will provide music for the service.
Communion will be offered to all believers who attend.
The service is open to anyone in the North Hills who wishes to worship.
The amphitheatre is located at 4070 Middle Rd, Allison Park.
Church members are encouraged to donate to their individual churches as usual. However, money collected that day will be donated to the North Hills Community Outreach, HEARTH, and Anchorpoint.
People can bring blankets and chairs for a day of fellowship. The Hampton Presbyterian Church praise band will present a concert about 30 minutes prior to the one-hour service, and play some songs afterward. Worshipers can bring a picnic brunch early for the music and stay afterward.
