Beginning Jan. 18, Memorial Park Church will offer Financial Peace University, a class that teaches people how to handle money God’s way, not the world’s way, and live a life of freedom and generosity.
The first session will be conducted in Westminster Hall at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18. It will preview what the university is and isn’t. It will be followed by nine weeks of class that provide participants tools to manage their money instead of feeling like their money manages them.
Participants will watch videos at home each week then join the group on Wednesday evenings for an hour of teaching and discussion starting at 6:30 p.m. The course is free. Memorial Park Church will offer free child care.
