Chamber golf outing

The 10th annual Aspinwall Chamber of Commerce’s golf outing is set for Sept. 8 at 3 Lakes Golf Course, 6700 Saltsburg Road.

Shotgun start is 10 a.m. The event is presented by UPMC St. Margaret.

Proceeds benefit the chamber’s annual community events.

Participants should register and purchase sponsorships by Aug 25.

Big Night Out

Aspinwall Neighbors is hosting Big Night Out from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 10 at Ben Killian Field in the Aspinwall Recreation Area along Field Avenue.

The event will feature live music, food, beverage samples vendors and more.

Beer crawl set

Aspinwall Craft Beer Crawl is set for 2:30-5:30 p.m. Sept. 23.

Advance tickets are $40 per person and must be purchased by 11 a.m. Sept. 21.

Tickets day of the event will be $50. Tickets will be limited to 550 attendees.

Participants must be 21 or older. Check-in starts at 1:30 p.m. at the borough building, 217 Commercial Ave.

People can sample domestic and locally distributed craft beers across 10 different restaurants and local businesses. They get a commemorative beer crawl sampling glass, color wristband and map to use as a guide.

Committee meeting set

O’Hara Township’s long range comprehensive plan committee will meet at 6 p.m. July 27 at the township office, 325 Fox Chapel Road.

Library programs offered

Cooper-Siegel Community Library in Fox Chapel will host a Teen After Hours program from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 28 at the library, 403 Fox Chapel Road.

There will be pizza and snacks, video games, karaoke and various other activities.

Wiggle Storytime, a program for children ages 2 and younger with their caregivers, is set for 10:30-11 a.m. Aug. 1 at Cooper-Siegel Community Library.

Families can enjoy stories and songs to help the young ones learn language, bond with their caregiver and explore the world around them.
