Sealarks Women’s Group
Sealarks Women’s Group will have its kick-off dinner at 1 p.m. Nov. 9 at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, Allison Park.
This group provides Christian fellowship and social activity for women alone — widowed, divorced or never married. All women alone are welcome to attend and consider joining the group.
The program will be “Stealing Lincoln’s Body” presented by Gary Augustine.

Human Book
Sharpsburg Community Library will present a Human Library, in which people are on-loan like books. The adult program is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Nov. 5 at the library on 1212 Main St.
Registration is required.
People serving as a “Human Book” will share their lived experience that is commonly met with prejudice or stereotypes. “Readers” can have one-on-one conversations with the “Human Book” about its topic. When the conversation is over, the “Book” is available for another “Reader” to borrow.

Women’s Business Network
Women’s Business Network is a networking association that offers ongoing professional education on topics ranging from building confidence to marketing, and leadership development opportunities.

The Pittsburgh North Chapter holds meetings on the first and third Fridays of each month at 9 a.m. at Parkwood United Presbyterian Church, 4289 Mount Royal Blvd, Allison Park.
