Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy students participated in the annual Halloween parade through the Aspinwall business district Oct. 29.

“Although it looks different than years past, the kids had a fun time,” said Katie Lovett, school director of marketing.

Every year, the 100 or so students from CDTCA march past the businesses along Brilliant Avenue to show off their ghoulish or outlandish costumes.

The merchants usually enjoy the creations and some pass out candy as the children walk by.

“The rain didn’t help matters but it’s always nice to have the businesses greet the students for this tradition,” Lovett said.
