A man once called one of Chicago’s “most wanted” alleged criminals was arrested Saturday in Pittsburgh’s Highland Park neighborhood with, among other things, a trash bag of alleged heroin.

Randall Langston, 26, of Bellwood, Ill., was arrested as part of a drug bust at an apartment complex, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.

Langston has been on the run since 2019, accused of selling hundreds of grams of fentanyl-laced heroin in the Chicago area, according to Fox 32 in Illinois.

Federal agents at the time said Langston sold the drugs – worth tens of thousands of dollars – to a confidential source.

FBI Special Agent Siobhan Johnson told Fox 32 at the time that Langston allegedly posted a video to Facebook in the days after the drug deal “holding what appeared to be multiple $100 bills and a Glock handgun.”

Charges filed against Langston on Saturday include receiving stolen property, conspiracy, and multiple felony drug charges, court records show.

WPXI reported that a man using the name “Chicago” sold 50 bricks of heroin to a confidential informant, leading to the bust at the Highland House Towers apartment complex.

When Chicago – later identified as Langston – walked to the apartment’s parking lot to sell the alleged drugs, police tried to arrest him, according to the TV station. Langston took off but was tackled by police.

A search of Langston’s apartment turned up a gun, digital scales, stamp bags, drug paraphernalia and a trash bag full of heroin, WPXI reported.

Court records indicate a judge on Saturday denied Langston bail, citing his status as a fugitive in Illinois.
