A vehicle crashed through a parking deck in Bellevue early Thursday morning, according to Emsworth Volunteer Fire Company.

Crews from Emsworth, Avalon and Bellevue volunteer fire departments were dispatched to the parking deck shortly after 12:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a social media post by Emsworth.

The crash occurred just outside the Fremont Square apartment building at 50 S. Fremont Ave., an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said. The dispatcher was unable to confirm the time of the crash.

Images posted on the Emsworth Volunteer Fire Company’s social media account show the vehicle fell through a paved parking space into a garage unit underneath, landing on its side.

Fire crews extracted the driver from the vehicle, the post said. The driver, who sustained minor injuries, was taken to a local hospital by Northwest EMS, the ambulance service said.
