Bridge inspection work along I-79 in Collier Township will occur Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions will occur as needed on I-79 in each direction on the bridges over Chartiers Creek north of the Route 50 Heidelberg/Collier (Exit 55) interchange, PennDOT announced. Restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, and will not occur in both directions simultaneously.
PennDOT crews will conduct the inspection. Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the area.
