Carlynton girls bowling team wins first section championship

Members of the Carlynton girls bowling team (from left), Chloe Cramer, Quinland Delrosario, Sheyla Tuapante, Grace Prepelka and Ava Pancake made school history by winning the program’s first section title.

The Carlynton girls bowling team made history this year by winning its first section championship.

“Each one of these outstanding student-athletes has played a vital role in hoisting our very first banner,” said Coach Daniel Kuhn.

The team had a 9-1 record and clinched the section title at a match against Canon-MacMillan on Jan. 24.

Carlynton’s boys bowling team also won a section title this season.
