3 South Fayette incumbents, 1 newcomer elected to board

In South Fayette Township, seven candidates competed for four open spots on the board of commissioners.

According to the Allegheny County Elections Division, incumbent Gwen A. Rodi lead the winners with 20% of the vote. Incumbents Joseph Horowitz and Lisa Malosh and newcomer J. Keith Dernosek all had 14% — separated by only a 20-vote margin.

J. Deron Gabriel also had 14%, but came up just 62 votes shy of making the cut. Steven J. Lower had 12%, while Art Bond had just under 12%.
