The Bradford Woods Conservancy will host its annual storytelling event at the Reserve in Bradford Woods on Friday night July 29 at 7 p.m.

People are advised to come a few minutes early as the group will be making s’mores before storytelling around a campfire.

People should bring a chair or blanket to sit on and a flashlight for leaving, because it may be dark.

In addition to storytellers from the audience, the conservancy will have a representative of an animal rescue facility in Verona telling animal rescue stories.

There is no parking in the reserve and people are advised to either walk or park along Lincoln Road, or at the post office or at Bradford Woods Elementary School and walk to the reserve, which is at the corner of Lincoln and Bradford roads.

The mission of the Bradford Woods Conservancy is to promote education, appreciation and conservation of the community, and to encourage environmental stewardship of natural resources as they affect Bradford Woods and the surrounding communities.
