A Beaver County man’s death at Acrisure Stadium was an accident, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled.

Dalton Ryan Keane, 27, of Center Township died after falling from an escalator at the stadium following an Oct. 2 Steelers game.

The medical examiner said Keane died from multiple blunt force injuries to his head, trunk and extremities caused from falling. He died in an emergency room at an unidentified hospital.

Police said the accident happened at 4:45 p.m., after the Steelers had played the New York Jets.

Keane was born in Beaver in 1995, according to his obituary.

Keane was a member of Local 449 Steamfitters Union and worked as a pipefitter at McCarl’s, an industrial service provider in Beaver County, since 2014. He had graduated from Central Valley High School in Center Township.

Keane is survived by a 2-year-old daughter, Isla Elizabeth Keane; a brother, Cody Keane; a sister, Savannah Keane; and a niece, Ava Linn Dykes.

Cody Keane launched a GoFundMe for his brother’s daughter, stating that donations will go into a managed account in her name. As of Tuesday, it had raised more than $33,000 from more than 400 donors.
