Allegheny County on Sunday recorded 74 new coronavirus cases and four additional deaths.
The county now has a total of 9,433 cases of covid-19 and 288 deaths.
New cases in the county range in age from 2 to 96 years with a median age of 38 years. The tests were given between Aug. 10-15.
The newly reported deaths include one person in their 60s, two in their 80s and one in their 90s with dates of death ranging from Aug. 10-13. One death is associated with a long-term care facility, the county reported, though they did not say which facility.
The county and state have different death figures because the departments pull information from different sources.
The department also received reports of 21 new hospitalizations.
August has seen 1,339 cases with only three days reporting more than 100 cases. The seven-day average stands at 82. There have been 49 deaths counted in the month.
