It’s the first weekend of November and daylight saving time ends Sunday. Here are some choices of how to take advantage of that extra hour of sleep.

Go for a long run

The EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler is at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

More than 3,500 participants from 36 states and four countries are expected to participate both in-person and virtually. Each mile will have a Pittsburgh theme and feature favorites such as pickles, pierogis and cookie tables. The course starts on West Carson Street near Station Square. It continues through the West End, North Side, Strip District and Downtown. The finish is in front of EQT Plaza, on the corner of Seventh Street and Liberty Avenue. The race is hosted by P3R.

Victorian Radicals

“Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts & Crafts Movement” opens Saturday at the Frick Pittsburgh in Point Breeze. As decribed by the Frick, “The exhibition explores how three generations of rebellious artists, designers and makers responded to a time of social upheaval and an increasingly industrial world. It explores ideas that preoccupied artists and critics of the period and includes the relationship between art and nature, questions of class and gender identity, the value of the handmade versus machine production, and the search for beauty in an age of industry.”

The exhibit is organized by the American Federation of Arts and Birmingham Museums Trust. It is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Masks are required indoors for visitors over the age of 2. Proof of covid-19 vaccination is required for certain indoor activities.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors/students, $8 for youth ages 6–16. Under 5 and free
