Eight candidates were on the ballot for four, four-year terms on Oakmont council.

The top vote-getters were Democrats Amanda Pagnotta, Tracey Holst, Jamie Leonardi and Republican John Arnold.

Arnold was the only current council member to seek reelection – he was appointed in January to fill the seat vacated by Carrie DelRosso, who left to be a state representative in the 33rd House District.

Republicans Laura Messina Amos, Kimberly Butler and Tracy Eaton Hatok, as well as Democrat Hilary Felix, lost their bid.

In Oakmont’s mayoral race, Democrat Sophia Facaros edged out Republican Mark Springer, 1,341 to 1,199.

Current Mayor Christopher Whaley did not seek reelection.
