District Magistrate Tom Swan swore in four members into Hampton’s council during its reorganization meeting Jan. 3.

Carolynn Johnson and Bethany Blackburn were both reelected to council. Johnson will serve as the council president and Blackburn will serve as council vice president.

Newcomers Julie Fritsch and Richard Kernick were sworn in for their first stints on council.

Fritsch, Blackburn and Johnson will serve four-year terms. Kernick will serve a two-year term.

“We are very fortunate that things are continuing along,” Township Manager Chris Lochner said.
