Man, woman wounded in Homewood shooting
A man and a woman were wounded late Saturday night in a shooting outside a business in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, Pittsburgh police said.
The victims were shot while they were in a crowd entering the Victory Banquet in the 800 block of Bennett Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. The man was shot in the neck and received a grazing wound to an ear and the woman was shot in the foot.
Medics transported both victims to a hospital, where they were reported in stable condition.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored sedan driving inbound and firing rounds at the crowd.
Detectives are continuing their investigation.
