Two firefighters were taken to the hospital Wednesday after sustaining injuries from a two-alarm fire in Oak Hill, Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokesperson Cara Cruz said.

Pittsburgh firefighters responded to the two-alarm residential structure fire at 6:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of Terrace Street, she said.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within an hour in the three-level structure, Cruz said.

Cruz said one firefighter suffered a laceration to the hand, and the other sustained a knee injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
