Two men died in a shooting Thursday evening in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood.

At 5:15 p.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to the 1200 block of Linnview Avenue for reports of a shooting, said Eliza Durham, public safety spokeswoman.

Officers found two men who had been shot multiple times, Durham said.

EMS took both men to an undisclosed hospital in grave condition, she said. When they arrived, the men were pronounced dead.

Investigators recovered two guns from the scene.

Durham said a person possibly connected to the incident ran from the scene, along Nobles Lane. That person is not in custody, she said.

“Officers are actively reviewing (surveillance camera) footage and interviewing witnesses,” she said.
