Two men were hospitalized Saturday night after a reported home invasion in Carrick, according to Pittsburgh police.

The pair told investigators that they opened the door of a home on Plateau Street just before 9 p.m. and found two men standing outside. The two inside the home were assaulted and taken by medics to a local hospital for treatment of facial injuries.

Police said it appears the incident was isolated.
