Man taken to hospital following East Liberty shooting
Police are looking for at least two suspects after a man was shot multiple times Thursday evening in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood, police said.
Just before 6 p.m., officers were called to the area of Harvard Street and Sheridan Square in East Liberty, where they found a male victim who had been shot multiple times.
Witnesses told Trib news partner WPXI that the man was riding a moped before he was shot, and was being chased by a group of people prior to the gunfire.
Police are continuing to investigate.
