Breeze Airways adds 4 new nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport
Breeze Airways announced Tuesday it will begin nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Portland, Maine; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Long Island, N.Y.; and Jacksonville, Fla.
Flights to Raleigh-Durham are set to begin May 18, while Long Island and Jacksonville will start May 25. Service to Portland will commence June 2.
Breeze will fly to all four cities twice a week. Service to Long Island, Jacksonville and Raleigh-Durham will be available on Sundays and Thursdays. Flights to Portland will operate on Mondays and Fridays.
“We are thrilled that Breeze is increasing service to up to 10 airports from PIT, and we are excited to see their continued growth and investment in our market,” said Bryan Dietz, senior vice president of air service and commercial development at the Allegheny County Airport Authority.
Breeze is offering introductory pricing for the new flights starting at $39. Extra-legroom seating is available for $79.
“We always look for routes that people are traveling today but can’t get there nonstop. Pittsburgh residents can now get to Portland, Long Island, Jacksonville and Raleigh-Durham twice as fast, for about half the price,” said Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey.
