Out & About: You Are Here exhibit blurs lines of reality
There’s always some thought-provoking artwork on display at You Are Here gallery in Jeannette.
The current exhibition is “Blurred Reality,” running through Aug. 4, with works exploring the point where reality morphs into legends and dreams.
The artists explored the question, “Why are we here and what are we doing?” via works in various media, including illustration, sculpture and painting.
An opening reception was held June 22, with gallery-goers having the opportunity to meet with featured artists Victoria Jennings, Ron Korczynski, Kevin Kutz, Michael McDevitt, Mark Miller and Dan Senneway, and curator Dan Overdorff.
As usual for a You Are Here reception, there was food, music and lots of lively conversation.
