Tickets are available for the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra’s 18th Hat Luncheon, set for June 8 at the Greensburg Country Club in Hempfield.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with a champagne reception, with luncheon served at noon.

“This is a special year for the symphony, celebrating our 50th (anniversary) with all of our neighbors who made this milestone possible. We warmly invite everyone to enjoy a beautiful afternoon, with great hats and an elegant luncheon,” says Endicott Reindl, WSO executive director.

The event will feature gift baskets, raffle and silent auction items, along with chances to win gift certificates from Katwalk Clothing & Gifts, Larrimors and Artisan Colour Spa and Salon.

The country club’s lush grounds and floral decor will provide beautiful settings for photo opportunities, event organizers say.

The program will include recognition of the day’s underwriters, to date including ComDoc, Composide Inc., Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, McDowell Associates Insurance, Merrill Lynch, the Jancisin Group and Sterling Distribution.

All proceeds benefit the mission of the WSO and its educational programs.

Tickets are $75. Seating is limited; reservations are required.
