Rumors have been swirling of a possible collaboration between Wendy’s and Girl Scouts of the USA — to create a new “Thin Mint” frosty.

Tyler Bowers, a food influencer known as @teamsupernovafb online, posted twice about the frosty, once in a joint post with Snackolator, a snack and food reviewer.

Online accounts and websites that have picked up the information have speculated a release date sometime in February, and are saying that the sweet treat will be made with a vanilla or chocolate base and thin mint swirl.

Food & Wine magazine reported on the rumors, and PennLive picked up the story as well.

However, Wendy’s told TribLive Thursday that it cannot confirm any details at this time.

And Karen Burchill, director of marketing and communications at Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania said Thursday that she does not have any information about a potential partnership with Wendy’s.
