Betsy’s Ice Cream in Mt. Lebanon is another Western PA stop for those following the Pennsylvania Ice Cream Trail.

Regional residents and visitors curious about the Pennsylvania Ice Cream Trail don’t have to venture far to enjoy a “trail” scoop or two.

The trail has expanded to include a Western PA Trail, adding nine businesses to the total of 32 hand-selected, PA Preferred creameries in Eastern, South Central and Western PA.

The Western PA Trail includes Betsy’s Ice Cream in Mt. Lebanon, Kerber’s Dairy in North Huntingdon and Jackson Farms in New Salem, Fayette County.

In addition to enjoying ice cream, visitors who make five stops on the Ice Cream Trail through Sept. 2 will earn a “Pursue Your Scoops” T-shirt. Those visiting all trail stops will also receive a “Pursue Your Scoops” ice cream bowl.

Passports are available to help keep track of one’s ice cream consumption.
