Strawberry Pie Forever sour ale, a collaboration between Eat’n Park and the Grist House in Millvale, returns Wednesday for its second annual limited run.

“We were blown away by the incredible response to Strawberry Pie Forever last year,” said Grist House marketing manager Bailey Allegretti, noting it sold out in just four hours.

“The loyal fans of both brands contributed to the instant success of Strawberry Pie Forever last year,” said Eat’n Park spokesperson Courtney Caprara.

Strawberry Pie Forever will be available for a limited time on draft for $8 and in four-packs to go for $22 at Grist House, 10 E. Sherman St.

The brew also will be available on draft for a limited time at The Porch at Schenley in Oakland and The Porch at Siena in Upper St. Clair.

Additionally, a limited number of four-packs will be available during two pop-up events — at 4 p.m. Friday at the Banksville Eat’n Park and 4 p.m. May 5 at the Waterworks Eat’n Park.

Grist House guests who purchase a draft or four-pack of Strawberry Pie Forever also will receive a mini Smiley Cookie, while supplies last.

Inspired by Eat’n Park’s classic strawberry pie, the ale is brewed with strawberries, Tahitian vanilla and lactose, giving it a fresh strawberry aroma.

“Grist House has been such an incredible partner, helping us find an innovative way to reimagine one of our most iconic desserts,” said Amanda Giacobbi, senior director of restaurant marketing for Eat’n Park. “After the exciting response last year, we are thrilled to work with them again.”

Also in celebration of Eat’n Park’s Merry Berry Month of May, strawberry pie has returned to the menu, along with other favorite strawberry dishes and beverages.

“Strawberry Pie Forever pairs well with any of the dishes that recently returned to the Eat’n Park menu for the summer, including the Chicken & Strawberry Salad and Zucchini Lasagna,” Caprara said.
