After 40 years, Bado’s Pizza Grill & Ale House announced on Facebook that it will close its doors on Beverly Road in Mt. Lebanon on Nov 22.

“With heavy hearts, we are sad to say that Bado’s will be saying goodbye to Beverly Road,” the Monday evening post said. “We will remain open for operation every day between now and November 22, 2023 when we will close our doors for the last time. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you — the customers who made these last 40 years possible and filled with so many wonderful memories. Without your continued support as a community, we would not be where we are today. And to our employees who have been with us every step of the way, working to make Bado’s what it is today.”

“40 years ago, it all began with ‘A cut and a coke for a buck’ and has since evolved into a family staple of Mount Lebanon,” the post continued.

It’s signed, “Love the Badolato Family.”

Bado’s food truck will continue to operate.

The restaurant is closed Mondays and nobody answered the phone for comment.
