Put a topper on it.

The 21st annual PNC Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Spring Hat Luncheon is from 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4. It’s the first time the stylish event will be held at Allegheny Commons Park on Pittsburgh’s North Side.

The soiree attracts 700 guests, according to a news release. Proceeds benefit Pittsburgh park system.

The luncheon is an opportunity for guests to feature their headwear style. You will see everything from designer hats to homemade headpieces.

Guests will be treated to champagne and cocktails, followed by a sit-down luncheon catered by the Duquesne Club.

This is the first year the event is not held at one of the City’s five regional parks.

The event coincides with the Kentucky Derby. It was founded in 1999 and has raised $8.5 million in support of Pittsburgh’s park system, according to a press release. It helps the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy support much-need projects and programming in city parks. Currently, there are 165 parks in the city of Pittsburgh.
