Think you’re special just because you grabbed one of Starbucks’ new holiday cups?
Well, to Alaska Airlines you are.
The company kicked the fever pitch for the cups up a notch by announcing their passengers with one of the coveted cups in their hands will get priority boarding on all flights through Nov. 10.
They call it the “espresso” lane.
Cup, cup and away! Guests who make @Starbucks coffee a priority while traveling today (through 11/10), get priority boarding on any Alaska flight! Just listen to the boarding announcements and show your #Starbucks Holiday cup to be among the first to board! #iFlyAlaska pic.twitter.com/Hk89avvzFg

“Some lucky guests on select flights might find surprise Starbucks treats on their seats, too,” the airline said in a release on its website.
It all makes sense, really. Both companies are Seattle-based.
Of course, guests with First Class tickets or special airline status will still board first in their typical fashion. So, just because you have that precious cup, First Class still is better than you.
But not to worry if you’ve already downed your drink, the cup is your express ticket, not the java.
