Watch: Mick Jagger, Dave Grohl unite on 'Eazy Sleazy,' a pandemic anthem

Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl got “sleazy” on a new song released Tuesday.

The Rolling Stones frontman and Nirvana / Foo Fighters member collaborated for the song “Eazy Sleazy,” which was released on Jagger’s YouTube channel.

“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism - thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this,” reads the description of the “Eazy Sleazy” video.

The song’s lyrics draw heavily from pandemic life, with lines like “Cancel all the tours footballs fake applause” and “Trying to write a tune better hook me up to Zoom.” Later on in the song, Jagger talks of vaccines and conspiracy theories: “Shooting the vaccine Bill Gates is in my bloodstream / It’s mind control,” he sings, poking fun at them.

The Rolling Stones had planned to play Pittsburgh last summer on the band’s “No Filter” tour. But the tour and Heinz Field show were postponed after the covid-19 pandemic hit.
