Musician Jack White is hitting the road next year with a massive tour, including a stop at the Petersen Events Center in Oakland.
He plays Pittsburgh on April 14 as part of his “The Supply Chain Issues Tour.”
White last performed in Pittsburgh at Stage AE with his band The Raconteurs in August 2019. That show was memorable for the music and also being phone-free.
No photos, video or audio recording devices were allowed. All phones and other photo or video-capturing devices had to be secured in a portable, locking pouch.
White is known for his Detroit-based The White Stripes, which introduced listeners to his garage-rock style and his solo work.
On April 8, White will release a new album, “Fear of the Dawn,” from his own Third Man Records label.
