A new song featuring late rapper and Point Breeze native Mac Miller was released Thursday by music producer 88-Keys.

The song, titled “That’s Life,” also features musician Sia.

The song originally was recorded by 88-Keys and Miller while they were in a New York City studio. In an announcement, 88-Keys said he and Miller talked about the effects relationships have had on their lives, which led Miller to create the concept for “That’s Life.”

Sia added her contribution later, the announcement said.

“At the end of it all, my dear friend Mac and my new-found friend Sia helped me make a song to touch the world and help many with adversities we’re faced with, but ‘That’s Life,’” 88-Keys said.

The song has explicit lyrics.

Born Malcolm McCormick, Miller died Sept. 7, 2018, of an accidental drug overdose. His first album, “Blue Slide Park,“ paid tribute to the playground at Pittsburgh’s Frick Park, a favorite childhood play place in Squirrel Hill.
