Days after one of the biggest tours of the summer hits Pittsburgh, another even louder show will set up on the outfield of the PNC Park.

Metallica announced Thursday a show for the North Shore stadium on Aug. 14 with opening acts Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills.

The band also announced a show in Buffalo, N.Y., on Aug. 11 at Highmark Stadium.

Metallica last played Pittsburgh in October 2018, hitting PPG Paints Arena on their WorldWired Tour.

Tickets for the Pittsburgh show go on sale at 10 a.m. March 4. Special fan club members will have early access beginning Monday.

The two shows are the only U.S. dates set for the summer. Metallica plays a show in Las Vegas on Friday night and in Boston in May, but all the other dates listed on their tour are in South America and Europe.

The Pittsburgh stop comes two days after the Stadium Tour featuring Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett play on the field on Aug. 12.

Get ready for a loud weekend.
