Justin Bieber arrives at the Los Angeles premiere of “Justin Bieber: Seasons” on Monday, Jan. 27.

Justin Bieber joins the long list of artists canceling shows because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Canadian pop star has postponed his tour in support of his new album “Changes,” which was set to come through Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena on Aug. 4.

“In light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour. While Justin — along with his band, dancers and crew — has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost,” a statement on the PPG Paints Arena website read.

“Justin is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone. He asks that his fans hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored as soon as the dates are rescheduled. Information on rescheduled dates will be forthcoming soon.”

Bieber was to set kickoff the tour May 14 in Seattle at CeturyLink Field and finish up the run Sept. 26 in East Rutherford, N.J. at MetLife Stadium.

The “Changes” tour has dates in the U.S. and Canada, in arenas and open air stadiums.
