It seems like a rock music lover’s dream: Def Leppard and Journey on the same bill, with the Steve Miller Band thrown in for good measure. Well, that dream is headed to Pittsburgh’s PNC Park in July.

The concert, part of Def Leppard and Journey’s 23-city Summer Stadium Tour in 2024, will hit the Pirates’ home on Saturday, July 27.

The tour will include a rotating lineup of third acts in different cities, the Steve Miller Band, Heart and Cheap Trick. Pittsburgh is getting Steve Miller.

Fans can now register for tickets at defleppardjourney2024.com. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Dec. 15. Pirates Insiders, season ticket holders and VIPs will have access to an exclusive presale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 14.

Def Leppard, who last played PNC Park in August 2022, is known for hits like “Photograph,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Rock of Ages” and “Love Bites.”

Journey, known for hits like “Any Way You Want It,” “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” and the iconic “Don’t Stop Believin’,” last played Pittsburgh in February 2022.

The tour will launch in July in St. Louis and close in September in Denver.

All bands on the tour are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
