Creed’s reunion tour includes August show at Star Lake

A reunited Creed, which climbed “Higher” in the charts during the late 1990s, is hitting the road for the first time in more than a decade.
The band’s Summer of ’99 tour will visit the Pittsburgh area, with show Aug. 3, 2024, at the Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown. Creed will be joined by early 2000s modern rock radio mainstays Three Doors Down and Finger Eleven.
Creed rose to fame with songs like “My Own Prison,” “My Sacrifice,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “Higher,” among other radio hits.
Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com, with Creed and Three Doors Down presales starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Live Nation and Ticketmaster presales beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
“I feel like I’m as strong as I’ve ever been vocally, and looking forward to sharing the stage with the guys again,” singer Scott Stapp said in a statement to Billboard. “The fans have clearly let us know they feel it’s long overdue. I want to give them what they deserve. I’m ready to bring it.”

Next year’s show will be almost 15 years to the day since the last time Creed played in the Pittsburgh area, with their last show on Aug. 6, 2009, at Star Lake on the Full Circle tour.
