Avenged Sevenfold’s third leg of the band’s Life is But A Dream… tour of North America will include a stop at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena in March.

The metal band — which includes singer M. Shadows, guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ and drummer Brooks Wackerman — will play March 25, with leadoff acts Poppy and Sullivan King.

The group’s eighth album, “Life Is but a Dream…,” was released in June and is their first in seven years.

Tickets are available now for Deathbats Club members through a TicketPass presale until 10 p.m. Nov. 28. Additional presales will run until the general sale starts at 10 a.m. Friday at LiveNation.com.

The band was founded in 1999 in Huntington Beach, Calif. They’ve landed five Top 10 entries on Billboard’s album chart over the years, scoring No. 1 discs with “Nightmare” in 2010 and “Hail to the King” in 2013.

Avenged Sevenfold last played the Pittsburgh area on July 26, 2014, as part of the Mayhem Festival at what was then First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown. They’ve made nearly a dozen other Pittsburgh stops since 2002.
