Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday for a performance from Arlo Guthrie, who is celebrating 50 years of the movie “Alice’s Restaurant.”

Guthrie will perform Nov. 16 at Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall with special guest Sarah Lee Guthrie, his daughter, according to an announcement.

The folk musician broke onto the scene in 1967 with the album Alice’s Restaurant. It features music recounting his arrest for littering, which is still broadcast widely around Thanksgiving. The story was made into a movie in 1969.

Guthrie continued making music throughout his career and later delved into writing children’s books.

Doors will open an hour early for the 8 p.m. show. A limited amount of Gold Circle seating will be available for $69. The remaining tickets range from $49 to $59. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. at ticketfly.com, librarymusichall.com or 1-877-4-FLY-TIX.
