Three Rivers Arts Festival gets 2nd day of sunny skies

The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival entered its second day under sunny skies in Pittsburgh’s Cultural District Saturday.

The 10-day festival began Friday and runs through June 9.

The festival features performances on multiple stages, gallery exhibitions, public art installations, activities for all ages and an Artist Market open from noon to 8 p.m. daily.

Upcoming featured artists are Martha Redbone on Sunday; the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on Monday; Nicole Zuraitis on Tuesday; Ozomatli on Wednesday; Say She She on Thursday; Doom Flamingo on Friday; Sugarhill Gang & The Furious Five on June 8; and Ben Folds on June 9.

All performances will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Dollar Bank Main Stage at 9th Street and Fort Duquesne Boulevard.

A production of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, the festival is free to attend.
