Ariana Grande joins 'The Voice,' gets millions of social media likes in an hour
Ariana Grande is joining “The Voice” for its next season.
The pop star will be a coach for the NBC show’s 21st season.

Grande, 27, will be replacing Nick Jonas, but “he isn’t leaving for good,” according to Page Six.
“Nick will remain on rotation with other stars that have appeared on the show,” the report said. “The chances are he will be back soon.”
The Tuesday announcement of Grande joining “The Voice” has been reacted to greatly across social media platforms. Her tweet about “The Voice” has more than 130,000 likes, a Facebook post has more than 250,000 likes, and an Instagram post has more than 3 million likes as of Tuesday about noon. All three updates were posted at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
“Positions,” Grande’s latest album, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after its release in October.
Coaches for “The Voice” Season 20 (the current season) include Jonas, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton.
NBC’s “The Voice” airs at 8 p.m. Mondays.
